Club Academy

Coast Basketball is excited to partner with local Primary Schools to deliver the Club Academy, an after-school basketball development programme for local students.

This programme is designed to provide accessible, high-quality basketball opportunities for tamariki of all abilities, supporting skill development, confidence, and a love for the game.

Frequency: 1 session per week

Duration: 60 minutes

Age Group: Year 4 – Year 6
(Year 4 - Year 8 for Girls Academy on Sundays)

Date: Term 2 2026 (8 weeks), dates below for each academy

Cost: $50 per player

Location: Whangaparaoa Primary School
Frequency: 1 session per week
Duration: 60 minutes
Time: 3:20pm – 4:20pm, Mondays 
(Participants can arrive from 3pm while coach is setting up)
Age Group: Year 4 – Year 6

HAWKS Academy Details: 
Location: Wentworth Primary School
Frequency: 1 session per week
Duration: 60 minutes
Time: 3:20pm – 4:20pm, Wednesdays
(Participants can arrive from 3pm while coach is setting up)
Age Group: Year 4 – Year 6

STORM Academy Details: 
Location: Silverdale Primary School
Frequency: 1 session per week
Duration: 60 minutes
Time: 3:20pm – 4:20pm, Wednesdays

ROYALS All Girls Academy 
Any girls wanting a girls only session
Location: Whangaparaoa College 
Frequency: 1 session per week
Duration: 60 minutes
Time: 10:45am - 11:45am, Sundays
Age Group: Year 4 – Year 6, Year 7 - 8
