INTER-CLUB BASKETBALL
Local clubs. Real games. A place to belong.
Coast Basketball’s Interclub competition gives young players the opportunity to join a local club, train with their team and compete in regular organised basketball on the Hibiscus Coast.
Designed for boys and girls across U10, U12, U14 and U16, Interclub provides a fun, competitive environment where players can develop their skills, learn to play as part of a team and take the next step in their basketball journey.
HOW INTER-CLUB WORKS
Getting involved is easy. Players register with one of our local Coast Basketball clubs before attending a club muster, where they are placed into a team for the upcoming season.
From there, players train with their club and compete against teams from across the Hibiscus Coast in the Inter-club League held on Saturdays.
Whether you’re relatively new to basketball, already playing for your school or looking to work towards representative basketball, there’s a place for you.
The season runs across Term 4 and Term 1, creating a dedicated summer club basketball season.
Games and club trainings take place at venues around the Hibiscus Coast, including Whangaparāoa College and
KingsWay College.
OUR INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS
QUICK3 LEAGUE
U10 / U12 / U14
Fast, exciting and designed to get everyone involved. Quick3 uses a 3v3 format to give junior players more touches of the ball, increased court time and more opportunities to make decisions in a game environment.
It’s a great way to develop individual skills, teamwork, basketball IQ and confidence while competing for your local club.
U16 INTER-CLUB
league
Our U16 competition moves into 5v5 basketball, giving older players the opportunity to continue competing for their local club while developing their team play, game understanding and skills in a traditional basketball format.
